Solution Focused Hypnotherapy combines talking therapy with hypnosis that will enable you to focus on your goals and preferred future. It does not analyse or dwell on the past.

During hypnosis, you remain aware and in control at all times. It is a natural state of deep relaxation where your attention becomes more focused and your mind feels calmer.

  • That gentle state just before falling asleep

During trance, the nervous system settles, the body relaxes, and the subconscious mind becomes more receptive to positive suggestions supporting change. You can still hear what is being said, move if you need to, and bring yourself out of trance at any time.

Hypnosis is not sleep, and you will not be made to do anything against your will.

No, you are in control at all times and will not get 'stuck' in a trance.
